Psalm 90:16-17 NRSV) “Let your work be manifest to your servants and your glorious power to their children. Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us, and prosper for us the work of our hands— O prosper the work of our hands!” I wanted to finish this devotion with...

Finding the Favor of God
Psalm 90:17 (NAB) “May the favor of the Lord our God be ours. Prosper the work of our hands! Prosper the work of our hands!” Psalm 90:17 (TLB) “and let the Lord our God favor us and give us success. May he give permanence to all we do. “
I desire my family and Journey Church family to experience God’s favor. The reason I titled this devotional “Finding the Favor of God” is because I believe so many people miss the favor of God because they are not looking for it. Another reason I titled it “Finding the Favor of God” is because of the favor God has shown Debbie, me, and our family.
My life verse is Ephesians 3:20 (NKJV) “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.” I know it’s because of God’s favor we get to live this verse out in our lives. Through this book, you will learn what God’s favor is and how to have it. You will learn having God’s favor does not exempt us from problems but it does help give us the power and purpose to go through those problems.
Praying you will begin to look and find God’s favor in your life so you can begin to live out and enjoy Eph. 3:20 like me and my family. Do you feel you have God’s favor? If not, it might be because you have not been looking for it. It might be because you don’t know what it is. It might be you did not know how to get it, or it might be you’re simply believing the lie of the devil that it’s not for you.
The Challenge
Stop believing the lie of the devil. God’s favor is for you, with you, and He wants you to learn to look for it and thank Him for it. Looking forward to enjoying this journey together: Like any Journey, you always have to be ready for the end of the Journey as well. -Pastor James Greer | Eph.3:20

Day 6: Favor Ain’t Fair to the Enemy!
