Proverbs 13:15 (NIV) “Good understanding wins favor, but the way of the unfaithful is hard.” We will find God’s favor when our conduct and actions are right. A good understanding is also learning to apply God’s wisdom and Word daily to everyday situations. God-given understanding comes from having the right perspective and attitude toward others in day-to-day situations.
The more of God’s word we know, the better understanding we will have and the more of God’s favor we will enjoy. The book of Proverbs is excellent to read over and over if you want to learn wisdom and understanding. God wants us to understand better how to apply His wisdom to our day-to-day situations, so ask Him.
Today’s Challenge:
Why not read the book of Proverbs and ask God for wisdom? As you read it, you don’t have to be in a rush. When was the last time you asked God to help you better understand a situation or person? Ask God to help you have the proper perspective and attitude about whatever you’re facing today.
