Exodus 33:13-15 (NIV) Moses also sought to hear from God. He climbed a mountain, fasted for forty days, and spoke to the Lord face to face. But Moses refused to move forward unless God led him: “‘If You are pleased with me, teach me Your ways so I may know You and continue to find favor with You. Remember that this nation is Your people.’ The LORD replied, ‘My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.’ Then Moses said to Him, ‘If Your Presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here.’”
Wouldn’t it be great if we were all so tuned in to God that we would not move forward unless we heard from God or knew it was His will? Moses not only wanted to know God’s will and way, he wanted to stay in God’s favor. Moses knew if he was in God’s favor he would have rest. This rest is way more than sleep. This rest means peace, victory, and He will be with you and see you to the end! It’s all about the choices and how tuned in we are that will allow us to hear the voice of God. He will help us tap into the right thoughts and wise decisions that will enable us to thrive through these troubled times.
Today’s Challenge:
When was the last time you stopped long enough to ask God to go with you? Have you ever told God if you don’t do it with me or before me I will not go? WOW! Do you feel because you have God’s favor you can REST? (Have peace, victory, and know God will be with you until the end.)
