Psalm 30:5 (NKJV) “For His anger is, but for a moment, His favor is for life; weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.” I love this verse because it says, “His favor is for life.” It’s not just when I’m good; it’s when I’ve done wrong. It’s when I’m on top, and it’s when I’m on the bottom. It’s when I’m weeping and when I have joy. God’s favor helps turn our weeping into joy! God’s favor is when God takes the Ordinary and does the Extraordinary. This verse tells us God is always looking for the opportunity to do the extraordinary in our lives.
You might be down and at a low point in your life right now, but God wants you to allow His favor to bring joy in the morning. Don’t say that can’t happen because with God, all things are possible. Matthew 19:26 (NKJV) “But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men, this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” Better yet, you might be at a great time of joy right now so remember to give God thanks for His favor in your life.
Today’s Challenge:
Have you ever thought about having God’s favor all your life? Have you ever thought about allowing God’s favor to help you when you were weeping or sad? Have you been thanking God for His favor? Do you need to thank God for His favor today?
