Exodus 12:36 (NKJV) “And the LORD had given the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they granted them what they requested. Thus they plundered the Egyptians.” The Egyptians had kept the Children of Israel in bondage for years, then they finally cried out to God. He not only showed them favor but blessed them with much of the Egyptians wealth.
When we have God’s favor it does not matter how big, powerful, or strong our enemy is. It’s simply a matter of if we have God’s favor. When we have God’s favor, life is not fair for the enemy. Proverbs 16:7 (NKJV) “When a man’s ways please the LORD, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.” When our ways please the LORD, we have God’s favor. Even our enemies want to be at peace with us.
Today’s Challenge:
Doesn’t this make you want more and more of God’s favor? Do you know you can grow in God’s favor? Luke 2:52 (NKJV) “And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.” Is there someone you would like to be at peace with? Have you looked for ways to please the LORD?
