The truth is most of my prayers with Debbie are at meals! We should pray more together; the sooner you start that, the better. You have some guidelines in the pages to follow. You could also pray blessings over them.
Numbers 6:24-26 (GW) “The LORD will bless you and watch over you. The LORD will smile on you and be kind to you. The LORD will look on you with favor and give you peace.”
Pastor Steven’s wife has asked her husband to do something in 2024. The children’s pastor will speak Proverbs 31 over her in the coming year. This is such a great idea! I ask the staff to pick a word for the year every year, and Miranda picked the word virtuous. To help her grow in that area, she will have her husband, Steven, speak those words over her! (Amen) Most of my greatest prayers for Debbie are in the morning when I spend time with the Lord in my office. This year, I hope to do better, praying with my wife.
Prayers we can pray with our partner that will strengthen our marriage. Psalm 12:1-3, Matthew 6:9-13
Psalm 23:1-6 (NKJV) “The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD Forever.”
