Acknowledge your anger. (Yes, admit it)
Backtrack the primary emotion or cause. (This can be very hard at first, but very eye opening) Sadness, loneliness, disappointment, wrong expectations, feeling attacked, embarrassment, feeling unloved, jealousy, disrespected, insecurity, etc.
Consider the real cause is that you expected everyone to want and to feel like you do. (What feels like truth to you might not really be the truth) Jer.17:9 “The heart is deceitful and desperately wicked” Our feelings can be fake – Our feelings can often fool us!
Determine the best way to deal with and handle the situation.
