Transparency: (Philippians 1:10, WNT, TLB)
- The state or property of a body by which it suffers rays of light to pass through it, so that objects can be distinctly seen through it.
- When the clay is broken or cracked, what’s on the inside comes out. (Isaiah 64:8, NKJV)
- A good reason for transparency is when you are trying to relate to the person or persons.
- An unhealthy reason for transparency is when you say what you are thinking about others and yourself that should be kept quiet.
How to know when to be transparent. (Romans 12:15, NKJV)
- Jesus teaches that it’s okay to hurt and weep when we lose a loved one or when a loved one hurts us.
- It’s okay to be transparent with God. (Psalm 22:1-2, NKJV; Mark 14:33-36, NKJV)

-
- Confess to the right person at the right time.
- You don’t want to be transparent and confess your sins to the wrong person at the wrong time.
- Some people think your confession is to make them feel and look better, not to help and heal you.
- Use this transparency with wisdom.
