Abraham’s response to God’s representatives help us understand why he finally received the favor he had been waiting on. (Genesis 18:1-15, NCV)
When God comes into your presence, do you want to beg Him to stay?
Do you see yourself as God’s servant rather than God serving you?
Abraham needed what God and His angels had to give.
It’s not what God needs from us, it’s what we need from Him.
We don’t have to serve Him, it’s a privilege and honor to get to serve Him.
We need to have a sense of urgency to serve God and others. (Hebrews 3:7, NCV; 2 Corinthians 6:2, NLT2; Hebrews 3:15, ESV; Hebrews 3:7, NCV)
The favor Abraham got to experience.
Abraham had to be aware that the LORD was there.
Abraham bowed and served the LORD.
Abraham not only gave, but he gave his best.
Abraham could not out give God.
