It’s not desire that causes us to win, grow, or be successful. It’s the design.
You have to have both desire and design.
Desire starts the fire, but design takes you to the finish line.
Desire is about passion, but design is about the pattern.
Areas to grow in: (Philippians 1:9, NLT2)
Grow in your knowledge of God. (2 Timothy 3:7, KJV; 1 Thessalonians 1:4-5, NIV)
Grow in knowing yourself; know your WORTH. (Romans 5:8, NKJV; John 1:12, NCV)
Understand your wiring. (Psalm 139:14, NKJV, TLB)
- Help you know you better.
- Knowing how you’re wired should not create better excuses, but better execution.
You need to know your words.
Words matter, but the words you say to yourself matter the most.
Many times, you need to stop listening to yourself and start talking to yourself.
Words are to your mind what food is to your stomach. (Proverbs 18:20, MSG; Matthew 4:4, NKJV)
The truth is not what the devil tells you, but what God’s Word says about you. (John 10:10, KJV; Proverbs 18:21, NKJV)
