True kindness is both words and actions.
Jesus’ words were kind, encouraging, and challenging.
Just because we challenge someone’s faith and action does not mean we are not kind.
Sometimes the kindest thing we can do is challenge someone’s faith that causes them to grow.
Sometimes the kindest thing you can do is ask some of those closest to you to either shut up or get out of the way.
- It’s not unkind to ask some people to be removed or be quiet.
What kindness doesn’t mean:
Kindness does not mean we avoid having difficult conversations with people.
Kindness does not mean we don’t address poor performance.
Kindness does not mean we don’t tell the truth.
Kindness does not mean you don’t challenge and give responsibilities.
Kindness does not mean you don’t hold them accountable for what they are responsible for.
Kindness does mean:
Sometimes it’s a simple and kind word.
Sometimes it’s a simple word and action.
Sometimes giving the harsh truth is the kindest thing you can do for someone.
Sometimes the kindest thing you can do is not help them.
Sometimes the kindest thing you can do is listen.
Most of the time, the kindest thing you can do for yourself is always ask God what to do and allow the Holy Spirit to confirm if you should do it or not.
