Trust. (Proverbs 3:5-6, NKJV)
The right trust brings confidence and security which brings about boldness and refuge.
Trust is earned over time.
When you learn over time to trust, that trust results in loyalty.
- Time + trust + loyalty = intimacy.
God wired us to have intimate relationships with Him and with our mates.
It all starts with learning to trust in the LORD.
- When one intentionally aligns his or her life, choices, thoughts, and actions under the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
- Coming into a position of agreement with God is what it means to align ourselves with God.
Trust in the Lord; don’t go with how you feel because many times it’s not real.
The main reason for being overwhelmed is not trusting in the Lord.
God is good and wants good things for His people.
Lean not on your own understanding. (Proverbs 3:5, NIV)
Don’t trust your ways; Lean on God.
Leaning – to put your whole weight on something or somebody.
Ladies, learn to lean on your husbands.
Young people and children, learn to lean on your parents.
Parents, learn to lean on Jesus.
When we don’t trust Him with everything, we eventually won’t trust Him with
