Royalty is humble and patient. (Ephesians 4:1-32, NIV)
Live worthy of what you have been given.
Humility is putting Christ first, others second, and yourself last. (Mark 12:30-31, NKJV)
This means knowing, accepting, and being ourselves to the glory of God.
When we show others patience, we get to experience the true power of God in a personal and practical way.
Earthly royalty expects you to bow down and wait on them, while spiritual royalty serves others. (Mark 10:45, NIV; Luke 19:10, NIV; John 6:38, NIV)
Royalty is gentle. (Ephesians 1:19-20, NKJV)
When you are gentle, you have the power under control, and you use this power to help pothers.
You have this power, it’s just a matter of what you are doing with it.
Royalty lives different in unity.
- Focus on what is shared in common, not the differences. (Amos 3:3)
- Have realistic expectations.
- Choose to encourage each other rather than criticize. (Romans 14:17-19, NLT)
- Refuse to gossip and refuse to listen to gossip. (Proverbs 11:23, CEV; Proverbs 17:4, CEV; Proverbs 26:20, 21, CEV, AMP; Proverbs 20:19, NRSV; Titus 3:10-11, CEV)
- Practice God’s method for conflict resolution. (Matthew 18:15, NKJV)
- Support your Pastor and leaders. (Hebrews 13:17, NKJV; Ephesians 4:11-12, NKJV)
