God’s favor helps us learn to enjoy the Journey. Jesus’ mother, Mary, had God’s favor.
Luke 1:28-30, NKJV “And having come in, the angel said to her, ‘Rejoice, highly favored one, the Lord is with you; blessed are you among women!’ But when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and considered what manner of greeting this was. Then the angel said to her, ‘Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God.’”
Favor is not always fun. Just because Mary had favor does not mean she did not have pain. She traveled many miles while pregnant on a donkey. Even though she knew her pain had a purpose, the pain was not removed. You can have God’s favor, be in pain, and continue to do what God has called you to do. As bad as things may be, nothing is out of God’s control. Mary activated her favor and surrender in Luke 1:38b. “Let it be to me according to your Word….”
Today’s Challenge: Today, will you activate the favor of God in your life? Will you surrender and be completely dependent on Christ for all your current pain and struggles?
