How to make great decisions in every invitation, every opportunity, every relationship, and every major purpose will multiply your accomplishments in life according to God’s will.
It costs you giving your time and energy. The best investment made in people is growing leaders. Leadership is influence, and greater your influence for Jesus, the greater you will have for the church. God does not want us to be unwise and wants us to understand His will.
Ephesians 5:17, NKJV “Therefore, do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is.”
Wisdom is knowing the mind of God in a matter, while understanding is knowing how to apply it to day-to-day situations. Wisdom is birthed out of life experiences and learning from them. You might have all the money and fame in the world, but without wisdom and understanding, you can’t enjoy it. You might be married, but you sure can’t enjoy that marriage without understanding and wisdom. The right question is, “Is this the right thing to do?”
Proverbs 4:7, NKJV “Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore, get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding.”
Before you make a major decision, decide if you are willing to work for that decision.
Today’s Challenge: Do you have a major decision pressing you? First, pray and ask God what His will is on the matter. Second, ask, “Is this the wise thing to do?”. Third, seek counsel from those who have been in the same position.
