Promises for Teachers

 #1 – Ephesians 3:20 (NKJV) “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in ____________.” (Your name)

My prayer for you: God not only uses you in a great & mighty way, but you get to personally experience His power in a new and exciting way!

#2 – 2 Timothy 1:7 (NKJV) “For God has not given ________ a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”

I’m sure many times during teaching what you really need is a sound mind! God’s going to give it to you. During those times remember this verse and claim it.

2 Timothy 1:7 (AMP) “For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control.”

Yes, God’s going to turn your fear into great faith.

#3 – Philippians 4:13 (NKJV) “I _______ can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

You can’t do all things, but through Christ you can teach, parent, lead and love.

#4 – Matthew 11:28-30 (NKJV) “Come to Me, all you________ who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you _______rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and _______you will and rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

There will be times that you feel stressed, pressed and feel like you are a mess.

God is commanding you to come to Him and let Him take your stress and bring rest.

#5 – Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV) “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

God has plans, great plans for your present and for your future!

#6 – Romans 8:28 (NIV) “And we ________ know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”

It might look bad now but this is not the end of the story!

Thank God He’s going to turn this around for my good and His glory.

#7 – Psalm 121:1-2 (NKJV) “I ______will lift up my eyes to the hills– From whence comes______ my help? My______ help comes from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth.”

• If He made the heavens and earth I think He can help you!

#8 – Isaiah 55:11-12 (NKJV) “So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. For you shall go out with joy, and be led out with peace; The mountains and the hills shall break forth into singing before you, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.”

This verse reminds us how important the words we speak are.

God helps us to speak the right words the right way!

Help me to have joy and lead out in peace!

#9 – Luke 1:37 (NKJV) “For with God nothing will be impossible.”

I thank God that you make all things possible for me!

#10 – Psalm 31:19 (NLT) “Your goodness is so great! You have stored up great blessings for _______ those who honor you. You have done so much for those who come to you for protection, blessing them before the watching world.”

 

God has great blessings stored up for you and wants to bless you so much that a watching world will know that it must come from God.

God bless ________ with the blessings you have stored up for_________.

#11 – Isaiah 52:12 (NKJV) “For you shall not go out with haste, nor go by flight; For the LORD will go before________ you, And the God of Israel will be your ________ rear guard.”

The LORD not only wants to go before you He also wants to guard your rear, from those who might try to hurt you behind

your back!

Thank you, God, for going before ___________ and watching _________ back!

God’s got your back!

#12 – Deuteronomy 28:7-8 (NKJV) “The LORD will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before your face; they shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways. The LORD will command the blessing on you in your storehouses and in all to which you set your hand, and He will bless you in the land which the LORD your God is giving you.”

God is going to take care of your enemies if you will allow Him!

God wants to bless your home, job and anything else you put your hands to!

God bless _________ in all that ______ set their hands to.

#13 – Matthew 11:6 (NKJV) “And blessed is __________he who is not offended because of Me.”

Help _________ not to be offended or ashamed that they are a Christian.

Help _________ to enjoy the blessings you have for them.

#14 –  Colossians 3:17 (NKJV) “And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.”

Remember who you are really working for.

Thank God for your job and ask Him to give you what you need to bring honor and glory to Him as you work!

#15 – Isaiah 26:3 (NKJV) “You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.”

I pray you will keep _________ mind in perfect peace!

Peace comes as a result of us keeping our mind on God and trusting in Him!

#16 – 2 Kings 3:18 (NKJV) “And this is a simple matter in the sight of the LORD; He will also deliver the … Moabites(enemy) into your hand.”

What you’re going through right now is a simple matter for God to take care of it.

God not only wants to take care of you, He also wants to take care of your enemy!

#17 – Luke 12:11-12 (NKJV) “…, do not worry about how or what you should answer, or what you should say. For the Holy Spirit, will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say.”

Help _______ not to worry about what they will say or teach!

For I pray the Holy Spirit teaches ______ what to say and when.

#18 – Isaiah 61:1-3 (NKJV) “The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon _______Me, Because the LORD has anointed _______Me To preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent ________ Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, And the day of vengeance of our God; To comfort all who mourn, To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified.”

Your job is a calling and part of that calling is to bring good tidings to those who are poor and in need.

God wants you to trade your ashes for beauty, your mourning for joy, and your heaviness for praise.

#19 – Romans 15:13 (NCV) “I pray that the God who gives hope will fill you with much joy and peace while you trust in him. Then your hope will overflow by the power of the Holy Spirit.”

Hope is the confident expectation of a positive future in spite of your present circumstances.

God give _______ hope, power of the Holy Spirit, joy and peace.

#20 – Romans 8:26 (NKJV) “Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groaning which cannot be uttered.”

Lord help _______ to know there will be times they don’t know how or what to pray but, during those times you are

making intercession for _________.

Lord when ________ is weak, I pray the Spirit will help_______.

#21 – Romans 8:31 (NKJV) “What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?”

Help _________ not to worry about who’s against them but understand who’s with them.

Help _______ to understand and believe that God is with them and for them.

#22 – John 14:20 (NKJV) “At that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you.”

Jesus is around you (Jesus is in Me) the only way someone or something can get to you is to go through Jesus.

#23 – Proverbs 4:23 (NKJV) “Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life.”

Proverbs 4:23 (CEV) “Carefully guard your thoughts, because they are the source of true life.”

Our heart controls our actions!

Having a right heart is the key to having the life you want.

God help _______ to have the right heart where they can enjoy the life you have for them.

#24 – Proverbs 4:7 (NKJV) “Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore, get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding.”

Wisdom is knowing the mind of God in a matter.

Understanding is knowing how to apply that wisdom in day to day situations.

God please help __________ have wisdom and understanding.

#25 – Psalm 46:10-11 (CEV) “Our God says, “Calm down, and learn that I am God! All nations on earth will honor me. The LORD All-Powerful is with us …”

When we are upset or fearful God simply wants us to calm down and know He is the LORD the all-powerful One.

When others upset _________ we are going to allow God to calm us down.

#26 – Nehemiah 1:11 (NIV) “O Lord, let your ear be attentive to the prayer of this your servant and to the prayer of your servants who delight in revering your name. Give your servant success today …”

Please give _________ success today.

Please hear _______ prayer today.

#27 – 1 Corinthians 2:5 (NKJV) “that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.”

People will disappoint us, but this should not keep us discouraged, because our faith should not be in men, women, boy or

girl but God.

God will not only never disappoint __________ but God will never leave you.

#28 – Romans 15:33 (NKJV) “Now the God of peace be with you all. Amen.”

I pray the God of peace give ________ peace.

God wants to give us peace in any situation.

Three steps to peace in any situation

  • Step 1: You must be saved.
  • Step 2: Totally depend upon God.
  • Step 3: Represent Christ in the situation.

#29 – 1 John 3:1 (AMP) “SEE WHAT [an incredible] quality of love the Father has given (shown, bestowed on) us, that we should [be permitted to] be named and called and counted the children of God! And so, we are! The reason that the world does not know (recognize, acknowledge) us is that it does not know (recognize, acknowledge) Him.”

Understand one of God’s greatest callings on your life is for you to be loved by God.

Until we allow God to fully love us we can’t fully love Him.

God help _______ to be filled with your love today.

#30 – Ephesians 5:17 (NKJV) “Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is.”

God wants you to have wisdom about the matter.

The question to ask before you take any invitation, any major purchase and any decision is “What’s the wise thing to do?”

#31 – 1 Corinthians 14:33 (NKJV) “For God is not the author of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints.”

God give _________ peace and remove confusion.

#32 – 2 Chronicles 16:9 (NKJV) “For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him…”

The LORD is wanting to use you in a great and mighty way.

LORD please show yourself strong in ____________ life.

#33 – Romans 8:1 (NKJV) “There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.”

Don’t live in condemnation instead live and enjoy the freedom Jesus died to give you.

LORD please remove any condemnation from ________ life.

#34 – Philippians 4:19 (NKJV) “And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”

Where the Lord leads, He will provide.

LORD please supply all _________ needs.

#35 – 2 Corinthians 2:14 (NKJV) “Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, …”

If you have not won – God is not done.

God grant ________ victory in whatever battle they are in.

God has never lost a battle and never will.
