Peace was planned by the Father, purchased by the Son, and provided by the Spirit. Peace is greatly determined by how we represent Christ in a situation.
Having God’s peace and power does not mean the absence of problems or pain, but having peace in the midst of problems and pain.
Steps to having the Peace and Power of God:
- Understand that power and peace comes with total dependence on God.
Peace is a by-product of trusting God’s promises, purpose and plan for our life. - Accept our calling.
We are Christ’s representative. We are saved from hell, but we are saved for something called service. God calls us, saves us, and then sends us to tell others how to have peace. - Become totally dependent on Christ and representing him.
