Day 2 – The Holy Spirit’s Power
Ephesians 1:17-20 “I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is like the working of his mighty strength, which he exerted in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms…”
In the above verses, Paul reminds us that it’s through the “eyes of our heart” that we are able to understand how God works in our lives. And as Paul writes, the Holy Spirit’s power is the same mighty power that raised Jesus from the grave and sent Him to be with His Father in heaven. God wants each of us to experience this power so we can realize the fullness of His love and live a kind of life that glories Him. If this motivates you – to glorify God with your life by the power of His Spirit – then God will answer your cries for more of His power as you yield to His Holy Spirit that lives in you.
PRAY GOD FILL ME AND I WILL FOLLOW!
Luke 11:13 (NKJV) …, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!”
