- Ask why are they amazed and why are the assaults coming.
- If you need to change something, change it—if not don’t’ worry about it. (Acts 9:20-27, NKJV)
- What we did in the past does affect our future, but it does not determine our future only you and God can do that.
- Our past that has changed can be used to amaze people about how Jesus can change our lives and give us hope in the future.
- Don’t live in the past, but learn from the past.

- How do you respond when others are talking about you or the ministry?
- No Amazement and No Assaults = No Attention or No Change.
- Two great concerns we have to be aware of that most never think about or were never taught:
- If no one is talking about you or the church it must not be making a difference. (Matthew 5:10-12, NKJV; Matthew 5:11, NCV)
- When the assaults come doesn’t mean we will not fear and get hurt—it means we will push through or trust the Lord we will be safe and happy. (Proverbs 29:25, NKJV;
- When there is not persecution we need to be concerned and ask are we doing what we have been called to do. (Matthew 12:22-30, NKJV; 2 Timothy 3:12, NKJV)
- That we are always lifting up the Name of Jesus. (John 12:32, NKJV)
- We want whatever we do to lead to lifting up the Name of Jesus—the power to change lives in the Name of Jesus.
- Programs are good, projects are good, people doing the projects and programs can be good, but only Jesus can change lives.
- We measure the program, project, and even the people by is it Furthering God’s Kingdom or Agenda by Advancing His Kingdom. (Matthew 6:33, NKJV; Matthew 6:10, NKJV; Acts 9: 23-26, NKJV)
- God’s Vision always leads to God’s provisions. (Acts 9:27, NKJV)
- Leadership Lessons:
- If you are doing what God called you to do you will bring about Amazement and Assaults.
- No Amazement and No Assaults = No Attention or No Change.
- When you get saved and begin serving, past friends will consider you a traitor.
- Experience with God will always win over education and religion—by the power of the Holy Spirit in your life. (Acts 3:22, NKJV)
- God always provides. (Acts 9:26, NKJV)
- God’s visions always lead to God’s provisions. (Acts 9:29-30, NKJV; 1 Corinthians 10:13, NKJV)
- If you are doing what God called you to do you will bring about Amazement and Assaults.
- If no one is talking about you or the church it must not be making a difference. (Matthew 5:10-12, NKJV; Matthew 5:11, NCV)
The Difference in Talking and Doing
