Week 8: Five Steps to Activate a Miracle

Nehemiah 1:5 NKJV And I said: “I pray, Lord God of heaven, O great and awesome God, You who keep Your covenant and mercy with those who love You and observe Your commandments.

Five steps to activate a miracle:
1. Realize what the problem is.
2. Recognize who God is—Great and Awesome
3. Repent of your sin.
4. Remind God of His promises—pray God’s promises back toHim.
5. Request God’s Favor.

Psalm 139:23 NKJV Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties;

Ephesians 3:20 NKJV
Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,

Where do you need a miracle today? Ask God what the problem is and the real reason for the problem!

  1. The hardest of those R’s is the recognize part. It is so easy to think that my problems are too small to put into God’s hands but God cares about my problems whether they are big or small.

  2. “Recognize who God is”. I’ve heard the phrase “don’t put God in a box” so much that its almost become a cliche, but cliches are cliches for a reason. We oftentimes forget the might and power of God in situations in our lives. A huge part of recognizing who God is is trusting Him with those things in your life that we’re afraid to let go of. We trust Jesus as the Savior of our life, but how are we in trusting him as the Lord of our life?
