‘Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord: ‘ Hebrews 12:14
‘Blessed are the peacemakers, For they shall be called sons of God.’ Matthew 5:9
As we pursue peace with all people, God pursues us to give us peace. When we learn to pursue peace, we begin to see the Lord. We begin to see the power and presence of God in our situation and circumstance which results in peace.
When we pursue peace, we become peacemakers –others will see God working in our life.
Remember, God’s peace is relational not circumstantial, so when we pursue peace with all people, we begin to come into God’s presence and enjoy the relational peace that no one can take from us.
Prayer: “Father, help me to pursue peace and give me the wisdom to become a peacemaker. As I pursue peace and become a peacemaker thank You for the relational peace You give me. In Jesus Name, Amen.”
