‘Finally, brethren, farewell. Become complete. Be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you.’ II Corinthians 13:11
When we have the mind of God in a matter, that’s really all that matters. Many times, the real reason we don’t have peace is because we want our way or the highway. If we want to have peace with God and peace with others, we have to come to the point we are willing to have God’s way and will in the matter.
Ways we know God’s will in the matter:
Ask the question, do I have peace in the matter? If you don’t have peace in the matter it might not be God’s will in the matter.
It will always line up with God’s Word—God’s will in the matter will never go against God’s Word in the matter.
The more of God’s Word you know, the more of God’s will you will know.
When you’re not sure, wait or ask someone with godly wisdom.
Prayer: “Father, thank You that You want us to live in peace and that You are the God of love. When I need to make a decision help me to have peace in the matter and that it always lines up with Your Word. In Jesus Name, Amen.”
