Holy Shift

Week 33: Holy Shift

The longer something exist the easier it is to shift from the original intent, meaning or purpose.

When we learn God’s purpose in a matter and act on it, we get God’s presence and power in the matter. We are a walking stick of dynamite when we walk in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Philippians 4:13 NKJV
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

Satan wants us to shift away from the original purpose of the Church. Jesus paid the price for us to have a relationship with God. This was the greatest shifting power in history. We no longer have to live in fear we can be fearless.

2 Timothy 1:7 NKJV “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”

The shift from coming to church to “Being the Church” brings favor with God and people. Holy Shift is a small change to make a significant impact! Before the Holy Shift, it was all about our
purpose—after the Holy Shift, it’s about God’s purpose.

Acts 2:46 NKJV “So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart”

Where do you feel powerless? What shift do you need to make to experience God’s power and purpose in your life? Did you experience a challenge, conviction or a commitment you need to make from this devotion?
