WEEK 16: Peace in this Place

‘When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own palace, his goods are in peace. ‘ Luke 11:21

When God is the strong man of the house it is protected. When God is the owner of all our goods, we can have peace about them. We are only managers of what we have, God is the owner.

‘Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. ‘ James 1:17

Do you have peace about what you own and where you live?  If not why? What good and perfect gifts has God given you?

Prayer: “Father in the Name of Jesus I want to thank you for every good and perfect gift you have given me.  I want You to be the owner and protector of everything I have.  In Jesus Name, Amen.”

James 1:17
How different would our day be if we paused and praised God? Praise God for who He is. For what He’s done in our lives. For what He’s going to do, for what He’s promised to do. Have you ever thanked God and praised God for what He’s up to in our lives? We’re important to God! Have you thanked Him for that? He loves us unconditionally. We can never do anything to cause Him to love us any less; we can never do anything to cause Him to love us anymore. He loves us with a perfect love. Have you thanked him for that? Thank God because His mercies are new every morning!
