Week 12: Vision

Habakkuk 2:2-3 NIV Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry”

All visions start with a burden. Vision needs to be clear and written down—it has an end in mind. Without vision, you go back to your past. Vision gives you the discipline/restraint to keep going.

Vision Requires
• Teamwork – Teamwork makes the dream work!
• More effort halfway.
• An awareness of weakness and vulnerability.
• Our refusal to be distracted.

What is your vision for your family, finances, and future? What are your spiritual goals? Did you experience a conviction, challenge or a commitment you need to make from this devotion?

Todd Demaris says March 18, 2019

Our hope is placed with GOD, with a confident assurance that GOD will answer our requests as we wait patiently.

Patrick Modisette says March 20, 2019

It is very good to see the purpose of a vision. Without it, we are stepping into the future blind, not knowing our weaknesses; But with it, we have a goal to work towards and disciplines that we learn to instill in our lives.
