Teams lead stronger when they lead together—3 Principles to lead stronger.
The only way to lead stronger is to lead in the same direction.
- Unbridled independence is a problem—alone it’s primary purpose is to run solo.
- Interdependence is more powerful and beautiful—we run stronger, longer, and farther together.
The only way to lead in the same direction is to be
- Unified doesn’t always mean natural agreement, sometimes it’s agreement by choice.
- If you don’t choose unity, you have chosen division.
- We have a greater chance of changing more lives by increasing unity in our teams.
- Until you choose to run in the same direction together, sold out and all in, you’ll never be unified—there is enormous power in unity!
The only way to remain unified is to live in spiritual and emotional maturity.
Three-point definition of spiritual maturity. (Philippians 2:1-8)
- Spiritual Intimacy – Your heart experience with God.
- Biblical Knowledge – The truth embraced in your mind from the Word of God.
- Holy Obedience – Your will, that is, what you do—surrendering to the will and ways of God.
The only way to rise above our human nature is to lean into our new creation and allow the spirit of God to help us mature. (2 Corinthians 5:17)
Spiritual and emotional maturity require both humility and mutual voluntary submission.
