Everything rises and falls on leadership, everything.
The more of God’s Word you know, the more of God’s will you know.
Wisdom: Knowing the mind of God in a matter.
Wise Counsel: Has the person you’re getting counsel from been successful in the area I’m getting counsel for?
Wisdom in a matter + wise counsel in a matter = success in what really matters.
How do you show discernment?
Hebrews 11:24-25, CEV
“Then after Moses grew up, his faith made him refuse to be called the king’s grandson. He chose to be mistreated with God’s people instead of having the good time that sin could bring for a little while.”
We show discernment by what we say, what we do, by who we listen to, and where we go.
Stay away is always the best play.
2 Timothy 2:22, CEV
“Run from temptations that capture young people. Always do the right thing. Be faithful, loving, and easy to get along with. Worship with people whose hearts are pure.”
Flee: run-escape-shun.
Wisdom lessons are always better than learned lessons.
You can learn by wisdom or you can learn by ignorance, either way you will learn.
