Time with Jesus has to be intentional and continuous. (Luke 10:38-42, NKJV)
Listen with the intention of hearing what Jesus has to say to you, not what you have to say to Him.
Some questions to ask yourself:
- How are you living your day to day level of life, peace or panicked?
- Is a love relationship with God more important than any other single factor in your life?
- Do you really believe everything rises and falls on your fellowship with Jesus? Everything?
- Does your schedule reflect your answer to the question?
The schedule tells the truth, because the heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked. (Jeremiah 17:9-10, NKJV)
What you’re doing will tell you the truth.
If you want the peace of God on a day-to-day basis it must be a lifestyle and mindset.
It’s an action to take, not simply a concept to believe.
When you are worried and troubled, many times it’s a sign you are trying to do too much without Jesus being first.
It’s one thing we need more than anything else to have peace, and that one thing is the right relationship with Jesus.
