“Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that He may send Jesus Christ, who was preached to you before,”
Unbelievable power of the Holy Spirit gives us the power to walk through our problems. Only Jesus can meet the needs in our lives. We cannot commit something to God and not obey. Sin will cost us.
How uncomfortable do we have to become with sin before we are willing to change and do what God has called us to do?
When we keep back from God, it limits the power and joy in our life. One of the ways to enter into the joy of the Lord is what we do with our talent, time, and money. What is it we need to be afraid of? Missing out on all that God has for us.
The worst thing we can ‘keep back’ from God is our heart. God did not just save us from Hell he saved us to heaven and he wants us to bring heaven down to earth. There is only one purpose you are here, to further the Kingdom of God.
How is God using you to further His Kingdom? Do you need to refreshing of God upon your life? Repentance often brings refreshing! Is there something you need to repent of? Did you experience a conviction, challenge or a commitment you need to make from this devotion?
