Insecurity comes from misplaced identity.
Matthew 13:16-17, NKJV “But blessed are your eyes for they see, and your ears for they hear; for assuredly, I say to you that many prophets and righteous men desired to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it.”
Learn to find your purpose in Christ. You’re not a Christian because of your good works, but your purpose is good works because you’re a Christian.
Ephesians 2:10, NKJV “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.”
Learn how to live out your purpose.
It’s one thing to know your purpose, but it’s another to live it out to the glory of God.
1 Corinthians 13:1-3, NIV “If I speak in the tongues of men and angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.”
